"...believing all things which are written..."
Sunday School
Sunday School is held during the morning service (starting after the second hymn) so that children aged four and over can benefit from teaching appropriate to their ages while the adults continue to worship the Lord in the church.
There are two classes - one for 4-7 year olds and one for 8-11 years olds. The children are taught from the Bible, following an agreed syllabus. All the children also receive a take-home sheet which gives parents an outline of what they have been learning. Children are encouraged to learn a memory verse every month, and prizes are awarded to those who succeed.
We also have a link with a British missionary and his Albanian wife, who are engaged in children's outreach in the city of Gjirokastër. The Sunday School supports this work via the children's giving, and they regularly receive newsletters and photographs about what is happening in Albania.
Because the chidren come from different lingustic backgrounds, all the teaching is carried out in both French and English.
